Bollywood celebrity Kajol (Mukherjee-Devgn) | Photos

One of the most successful actress of Bollywood who has attained mega-celebrity status is Kajol. Her surname is now Devgn after her marriage to husband Ajay Devgn in 1999.  She has a younger paternal cousin, Rani Mukherjee (younger paternal cousin), who is also an Indian film actress.

Born on August 5, 1974 in Mumbai Maharashtra, it is not a surprise that Kajol landed in Indian cinema. It runs in her veins; her father is producer Shomu Mukherjee while her mother is the actress Tanuja. She has been active in show business since 1992. Temporarily stopping in 2001, to concentrate on her personal and family life, she resurfaced in 2006.

This Bollywood celebrity has the distinction of being awarded the Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian award in India. She also holds the record for having five Filmfare Best Actress awards, a feat which ties her with her late aunt Nutan. Coming from a family of thespians, it seems acting is natural for her, who is not only graced with exotic beauty but with impressive talent. With a single movement, she reflects tons of emotions (looking divine in photo below)!
